Visa for China While in Japan (Israeli citizenship)

Hello,
I am currently travelling Japan for almost 3 months and planning traveling in China next month. I am Israeli passport holder. What is the process to get a visa to China, and how much time should it take? what documents should I bring?
Thank you very much!

You need to ask a designated travel agency to handle it for you. You need to provide:
1. Passport (valid for six months and two blank pages at most)
2. completed application form with a recent passport size photo
3. invitation letter (If you can't, you need to provide travel itineraries, return air ticket and hotel booking bill in China)
4. a copy of your passport information pages and legal entry records on it

It usually take about four working days to issue it.
