How can I do if I can not leave my passport at the embassy for 4 days?

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A VISA TO CHINA BUT I CAN NOT LEAVE MY PASSPORT IN THE EMBASSY FOR FOUR DAYS BECAUSE IM A CREW MEMBER AND I HAVE FLIGHTS TO DO....ANY SOLUTION FOR THIS ISSUE??
