travel from shanghai airport to city

Question

I am arrving at Pudong at 6:40am and need to be at the Langham hotel as soon as possible. How long does it take to clear customs? If I take the Maglev train into the city, how do I get to the hotel? It looks like it's off of Line 1 at 99 Madang Road, Xintiandi. Thanks

It will not take you a long to clear the custom. Generally speaking, it takes around half an hour.If you take the Maglev, you first arrive at Longyang Road Station where you can change to local subway line 2 to reach People's Square. Then you can change to subway line 1 to reach South Huangpi Road Station. Get out of the station from Exit 2 and then walk along South Huangpi Road to reach Xingan Road. Then you can see your hotel directly.
