Plan to visit Kunming on 2nd Jul and back 6th Jul. Is this sufficient to visit major attractions?

Yes, it is enough, if you just travel around KM city and places nearby.
Stone Forest costs you one day. Then you spend another day to Dianchi Lake and Western Hill area.
The I suggest you to go to Jiuxiang area to spend one day.0
