19 hour transit plan in Chengdu

The transit plan is 19 hours in Chengdu, do we need a visa to transit in Chengdu for that time and can we get accommodation during the transit..?!

No, you don't need a visa for a less than 24 hours' layover. You need to get a 24h temporary entry permit at the immigration counter for accommodation.
