Questions on validity

Dear Sir,
I got the new Visa last February. It is valid until next February.
My current (US) passport is valid until September of 2014, next year.
But, I decided to get a new US passport. When I get the new passport, can I carry both passports for entry? Or do I have to get a new one for my new passport?
Sincerely,

You can carry both your old and new passport to enter mainland. The only thing you need is to visit local PSB after entry for a transfer of it to your new passport.
