Visa procedure (we are US citizens, studying in Iran)

Hi, you can apply from the Chinese embassy in person or by someone else entrusted. No appointment is required. But mailed applications are not accepted. Regular processing takes 4 working days.

Thanks for the reply but I am sorry I ned more info. I want to know the documents I need to apply for it. I am a US citizen studying in Iran. If I go to the embassy , what should I take with me? Other than passport and the application and the Photo...what else do I need?

You need to provide your valid residence permit or visa in Iran, round-trip ticket and hotel reservations for tourist L application. Or an invitation letter from a travel agency if any. Make sure fill both the application form V2012A and V2012B.
