TRAIN FROM HONG KONG TO GUANZHOU

From HKIA, you can take the direct shuttle bus to reach Baiyun and then take a taxi to reach your hotel directly. The bus journey takes about three and a half hours.
From Jordan, you can take the cross-border buses to reach Guangdong Hotel. Upon reaching Guangdong Hotel, you can walk to reach Jiniantang Subway Station to take the local subway line 2 to reach Jiangxia Station. Then you can take a taxi to reach your hotel.

I would like to take the train from Hong Kong Jordan Mtr station to GZ Home Inn (Baiyun Avenue).
Please advise the way i.e. where to buy the ticket, which line to take etc and how long will the journey take.

From Jordan Station, you can take a taxi to reach Hung Hom Station where you can find the direct trains for GZ.
Upon reaching GZ East Railway Station, you can use the local subway line 3 to reach Baiyun Avenue North Station. Then you can get out of the station from Exit C1 and walk along Baiyun Avenue North to reach your hote directly.
The tickets can be bought at the Hung Hom Station. The trains journey takes about an hour and forty-five minutes.

Apologies, Annie, my Guangzhou hotel should be Home Inn Shangjiu Lu.
Please advise once again from Hong Kong Hung Hom Station how to i go to the hotel, i.e.
where do i stop, which line to change etc.
