train schedule between guangzhou to yangxi (near yangjiang)

my daughter is going to adopt a child from Yangxi in Guangzhou. after adoption, we like to go to visit the orphanage in Yangxi and would like to go and back from Guangzhou in one day. please find out the train schedules to and from Guangzhou to Yangxi, the cost and the station.  How many hours if renting a car and app. cost. thanks.

I'm afraid there is no train running between. But you can take a direct bus at Provincial Bus Station near the local main Railway Station to reach. I remember the bus fare is CNY108/person.

Can bus fares be bought in advance / online or do they need to be bought 'on the spot'?

The bus tickets can be bought online, but the official website seems not to have English version. Anyway, you can also go to the Bus Station to buy tickets in advance.
