we are going to beijing during mid dec 2013, can see snow during this period?

is it easy to go without tour guide during winter time? we are going to visit attactions like Tiananmen, Yuan ming yuan, greatwall, nanshan snow resort, fengshan hot sping resort etc.Can anyone ans my question?Thanks in advance.
