Dear Sirs, I will be on holiday in Thailand as from next week. I don't have enough means and time to get the Visas on time. I will have to take my 2 month old son and my girlfriend (who live in France) two times to Paris within 5 days (2240kms) and I have to go 2x to Bern because my address is in Switzerland (840km). As you can see, it's not convenient and very costly for a 3 day visit of my friend in Shanghai. I will be staying over a week in BKK, so would the Chinese embassy in BKK let us get one?I'd love to go there once in my life as my grand parents come from there.

It is possible for you to apply Chinese visa in Bangkok, but this is the last option only. You are suggested to apply in advance.
