If you do not want to climb a lot, the cable car may be a good choice for you.
From Changsha West Bus Station, you can find the bus station to reach ZJJ directly. If you start your jouney from HK, you can take the train for Guangzhou first and then fly to ZJJ directly.
At ZJJ, the budget hotels are Jingjiang Inn at No. 51, Ziwu Road.
Then to GL, you need to take bus for Huaihua and then take taxi to reach Guilin.
