About:Beijing City Bus

I will go to Beijing with family on this month. Would like to know where is the best location to stay?

Is it Qianmen area? I have booked the Dongsifuyuan Hotel, but my flight arrived at 1 am morning. How to go to this hotel via public transport or subway? Kindly advise.

Well, Qianmen Area can be a good location to stay considering the surroundlings and transportation.

Upon your arrival, the MTR will have been out service. I suggest you take shuttle bus night line 2, which operates from 24:00 to the arrival of the last flight, to Chaoyangmen. Then take a taxi to your hotel in around 10min.

From Chaoyangmen to my hotel, Dongsifuyuan, located at Dongsi is only 10min?

The shuttle bus Night line 2 - direct is to Chaoyang men? and I drop off in end point?
Do you know how much the taxi fare for 10min distance ? (estimation??)

How about location in Dongsi? Is it good location to visit most of the place?

Yes, actaully, Chaoyangmen is only around 3km from your hotel at Dongsi, so a taxi can easily take you there. The taxi fare at that time shall be around CNY20.

As for shuttle bu line 2, Chaoyangmen is just a stop, not the terminus.

The location at Dongsi is so-so to reach the attractions. But the transportation is rather convenient.

If compare Dongsi, and Qianmen, is it better to stay in Qianmen area to visit most of the tourist spot? Or any other location recommended to stay?

Beside, how to go Qianmen area from airport in midnight? I am think off to change my hotel from Dongsi area to Qianmen if better.

From Beijing-to Tianjin, where can we drop off to buy the bullet train ticket?

Yes, Qianmen area is more convenient compared with Dongsi. Better places to stay should be Wangfujing area, which is near Qianmen actually.

At midnight, you can also take the shuttle bus line 2 and need to get off at BJ Railway Station. Then it is suggested to take a taxi to reach your destination.

The bullet trains' ticket between BJ and Tianjin can be bought at any train station of BJ or you can also get at any Train Ticketing Center in the city.

Thanks. If I booked hotel in Wangfujing area, I also take the shuttle bus line 2 and get off at the local Railway station and then take taxi to my hotel? Is it correct?

You need to take the shuttle bus line 3 to reach local Railway Station and then take a taxi to reach your hotel.

If you arrived at around 1:00am, you need to take the line 2 and the line 3 does not operate at that time.

I would like to check if I wish to go Dunhuang from BJ. Where is the cheaper way? Total 6 pax.
And where should I depart and go to there? Any information here? Please advise.
