Do I need a multi-entry visa?

I'm planning to fly into HK, stay for a few days then check out Macau for a day and come back the same day then fly to from HK to Shanghai, stay for a few days then fly back.

What sort of it do I need? Single, Double, Multi?

A single entry is enough. HK & Macao are different from mainland where you are exempted from the requirement.
