Is there any possibility that the embassy rejects my application?

Hi All,
I am Bahador from Iran. I have been accepted by an international company in China for 4 months internship.
I applied for the F type 2 days ago. I prepared all original documents including latest 3 months bank statement minimum transaction of RM10,000 each month. Once I submitted all my documents the officer asked me for bank balance which I did not have on that time. So I decided to apply without bank balance. However, I got a supporting letter which states the company will financially support me during my stay in China. Is there any possibility that the embassy rejects my application?
