student visa for hogkong

Question

Hello! I have been selected for my PhD in  HongKong Polytechnic University. My PhD would require a stay of 3-4 years. I wish to know how to proceed for application and how much time it may take for the entire procedure.  kindly guide me as soon as possible.

Hi, you can submit your application to the embassy or consulate where you live. Your application will then need to be sent to HK for approval. It takes about 4 weeks. For the detailed requirements, you can refer to http://www.immd.gov.hk/en/services/hk-visas/study/guidebook.html
