Application For Indian Nationals in Australia

I am an Indian passport holder. I need to visit Hong Kong and mainland for a week for a holiday. I was told that Indian passport holders do not require a visa for a stay up to 14 days in Hong Kong. Is that still valid??? Is it the same for mianlnad or will I need to apply for it in advance?

Yes, it is exempted to HK for 14 days, but you need to show your ticket for leaving and hotel reservation when entry. Sometimes, the immigration officers want to see your financial support such as cash or bank statement as proof to cover your stay there.
However, you need to apply for one to Mainland.
