need to know Beijing long distance station & Train Station Web sites travel to Harbin.

To Harbin, there are four bullet trains from BJ Railway Station and you find the detail timetable on https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/ and you can even book the train tickets on this website.
There are only two buses to reach Harbin at Zhaogongkou or Bawangfen Long-distance Bus Stations. The bus from Zhaogongkou starts at 16:00 and the one from Bawangfeng starts at 17:30.
It is suggested to take the bullet trains.
The temperature in Harbin at that time is around -10 to -20C at that time, so you need to take your down jacket.

the train start with "D" is bullet train. but train only reach Harbin west. If i wish to visit city centre meaning that i need to take another transit transport to the centre, so which transport should I use, train or bus? how long does it take.?
where is the best area to stay in Harbin & BJ. my budget is 2-3 star hotel. near train station & easy for us to move around. (example in Guangzhou city, beijing lou "tourist area"). As you know we are new to your city, I need help to move around tourist spot with a map(walk or city train).

Hi, from the West Railway Station, you can go to the city center with aorund half an hour. You can take bus no. 11, 31, 120, 124 or 602.

Central Street at Daoli Disctrict should be the central place. It is onbly around 3km from the local Railway Station. But as I know, the hotels there may be a little expensive. As for accommodation, I suggest you find some chain hotels or inns, such as Home Inn, Hanting Express Hotel or Jinjiang Inn.
