About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Clarification of exact expiry time of Chinese Visa

I depart London on Monday (22nd), arrive in HK on Tuesday (23rd) evening and a few hours later catch a ferry to Zhongshan. My 12 month multi-entry business F expires on Wednesday (24th), with it saying "enter before".

I just need to know exactly when on the 24th my F expires, when is 24:00 hrs? Is that at the start of the 24th or the end of the 24th, ie one minute after 23:59 (almost 25th)?

If it is at the start of the 24th and my travel were to be delayed by a couple of hours then my F could have expired. As my current passport doesn't have any empty pages I cannot obtain a new one in such a short period of time.

One more question, despite only visiting mainland for a week I will be flying around and passing through various immigration points and after the 24th my F will have expired. Could this cause issues even though my original entry date was prior to the F expiring?

Hoping someone in the know can put my mind at rest!

Regards,

Simon

Yes, you can enter before 24:00 on the 24th. After entry, you can stay full stays issued to your F as duration of each entry without leaving. That is to say, you can not re-enter again after 24th.

Thank you for your reply Van.
Just to clarify you are saying I can gain entry up until midnight on the night of the 24th - my visa states enter before 24th April? So one minute after 23:59 on the 24th.
Cheers,
Simon
