About:Chinese Embassy in Lebanon

I am a French Scientist now living in Lebanon. I am invited for a symposium on cancer.

I am a French scientist (with French passport) residing in Lebanon since 2 years. I am invited to give a talk at the "2nd International Tumor Angiogenesis and Tumor Microenvironment Symposium" to be held on May 30-31, 2013, in Beijing. What reference papers do I need in order to apply for a visa with my French passeport? And how long does it takes?
