Layover Visa required for leaving the airport?

Hi!
I am a Filipino Citizen, currently residing in Sweden. I will travel from Stockholm to Manila, but with a 12 hour layover in Beijing, arriving at Beijing international airport. Am I allowed to leave the airport for a few hours? how can I apply for it?
Thanks!

Visa is required if you want to leave the airport. You can submit your application to CVASC at Karlavägen 108, Stockholm.
