It is not necessary to take a taxi to travel. The taxi fare is high in that place.
To reach the places you listed, you can taket the hotel's shuttle bus to Macau Ferry Terminal, stopping at Lisboa. Get off the bus at Lisboa and you can walk along Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro to reach the square and the ruins. If you take the bus to its terminal at the ferry, you can walk to reach Sands and Fisherman’s Wharf.
After you finishing visiting the ruins, you can take bus 15A to reach Ama Temple directly.
It is suggested to take your luggage to Lisboa and then store there, so that you can easily get it after you finishing visiting.

There is no locker in the hotel, but the hotel and Lisboa casino provide the luggage storing service in free.
It is easy from Lisboa to Venetian. From Lisboa, you can easily go to Sintra where you can find the free shuttle bus to reach City of Dreams, so you can go to take these free shuttle bus to reach City of Dreams. Upon reaching, you can walk to reach the Venetian or take the free shuttle bus of City of Dreams to reach Venetian directly.
As far as I know, if you can finish visiting and return the royal hotel before 17:30, you can the shuttle bus of royal hotel to reach Venetian. There are two shuttle bus to reach Venetian from royal hotel at 11:00 and 17:30.
The local snacks can easily be found along the Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, so it is no need to worry about it. The local public buses are also be easy take for you to reach anywhere you want to go.

I am heading there in June. And will be staying in Hotel Royal. I will be arriving by air, do you advise me to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel? Or is there an alternative? Thanks:-)

Actually, your hotel provides shuttle buses between the airport and Hotel Royal. Therefore, you can take that to reach easily, but I remember you have to pay 20MOP for the pick-up service.
