As for the budget hotel, I suggest you live in Home Inn, Pud Inn or Motel 168 nearby. they all don't cost a lot.
About the restaurant, I know a Kobe Indian Restaurant near People's Square. It is at the 1st Floor, Central Area Square, No. 227, North Huangpi Road, Huangpu District. Actually, it is not far from the SH Grand Theatre.0
