I'm in Nanjing and need to get to Shanghai airport PVG.

Is there a train directly from Nanjing to Pudong airport? I want to avoid the bus. I have 3 pieces of luggage coming with me. Is there a G-train ?

There is no direct trains from Nanjing to PVG.
The G-trains exist between. They will arrive at SH Railway Station or Hongqiao Railway Station.

If you are getting SH Railway Station, you can easily find Pudong airport shuttle bus line 5 nearby, which can take you to PVG directly.

If you are arriving at Hongqiao Railway Station, you can take the local subway line 2 to PVG directly.

Thank you very much. I will take the train to the subway. I think it will be much easier, and probably faster.
