Hi expert travelers. My daughter and I will be staying in one of the hotels in Yanhe South Road, Luohu District. 1. Where is the best place to eat without breaking the bank? 2. Coming from our Gorgeous Fad Hotel, Directions on how to go to Happy Valley either by subway or bus?3. I understand there is a beach resort? I don't know its name but we were hoping we can go there too. Would appreciate receiving directions as well.My current dilemma (while browsing the net) it seems everything in the city is in Chinese? Hi, don't worry! It can be easy to find restaurants nearby. You can go to some regular ones, which will not cost a lot. I know Shangpin Shaguo Porridge (Ruipeng branch) and Shuizhu Yuxiang Restaurant are good enough. Both of them are within 600m from the location you mentioned. As for your second question, you can take a taxi (within 5min driving distance) or walk from your hotel to Guomao MTR Station to take subway Luobao Line and get off at Window of the World Staion. Get out from Exit A, you can walk about 400m to the Happy Valley. Number 3, the beach resort should be Dameisha nd Xiaomeisha.  Walk from your hotel to Luohu Hospital Bus Stop to take bus no. M362, which can take you to Dameisha Station and Xiaomeisha Station. Upon your getting off, it is easy to find the beach resort. Well, actually, the signs in MTR stations are marked both in Chinese and English, which will be of great help. For other matters, you can ask the local people, especially some young people, who may communicate with English. Or you may have a Chinese as company to make things smooth.
