is there a direct train from hong kong to guangzhou china?

It will be there first time I am coming to Hong Kong will arrive there on 19th April morning. How long will it take for me to get a train from Hong Kong air port to GZ China and how much will it cost and the duration to arrive in GZ?Thank you Judy

From HK city center, you can catch a train at Hung Hom Railway Station to Guangzhou East Railway Station. The train fare is CNY210/US$35 for a second class seat and CNY240/US$40 for a VIP seat. While from HKIA, there no direct train to travel for this journey. Many cross-border coaches are scheduled from HKIA to Guangzhou and you can reach your destination in about 4h. The bus fare is 250HKD per person.
