About:Chinese Consulate in New York

I am a US citizen planning to travel to china for 3 weeks. Do I need a visa if yes where?

Yes, you need to get a Chinese visa in advance. If you live in any of following states, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, you can submit your application to Chinese consulate in New York.
