About:Beijing Capital Airport Shuttle Bus

One day trip to Tiananmen Square

I will stay Beijing from 8am to 5pm for a short day stay. I would like to travel from the International Airport. Can please advise the east way to go into the city center and how long do it takes on average on a normal Monday? I do not know Putonghua, so I prefer to travel by public transportation.

Hi, you can take shuttle bus line 2 to reach Xidan, where you can transfer to local subway line 1 to Tiananmen West or Tiananmen East. Upon your getting off, you can walk to Tiananmen Square according to the direction duing signs. Then you can enjoy the Tiananmen Square, National Museum and Forbidden City if there is time left.

The whole journey from the airport to your travel destination takes about an hour and ten minutes in normal case.
