I forgot to ask if you need the certificate of hotel reservavation while you are staying china and also money details which covers the whole trip in china. If so, it's complicated to ask the hotel because the very local small inn would not any official paper for police.

For extension, the Registration Form of Temporary Residence in the city where you stay isrequired. You can get this at a hotel or from local police directly. Also, for documents certifying financial support for living cost, it is 2 more days only, so I think to be safe, you can prepare a certificate of deposit, or cash at an average of US$100 per day.

If you want to extend your visa in Anshun, you have to get the registration form of temporary residence from a local hotel or the police station in Anshun. If the Village inn is a registed one with the local police, then they are able to get the form from the police station.
