About:Shanghai Metro Ticket

Will we be able to get back the balance in our Shanghai Public Transportation Card should we do not want to use it anymore?

Another question: is that card only valid for 3 hours after issue?

Well, you can get your balance for sure. Don't worry! As I know, there are service offices at the local South Railway Station, Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport and you can get the balance there.

What kind of card are you referring to? I don't know a transportation card is only valid for three hours.

Oh, I found it. It means that once you scan the ticket to go into a MTR station, it is only valid within three hours, during which you have to scan it once again to pay for the subway fare. Otherwise, it will be out of use.
