1. We're looking to make friends if poss.2. Can you give me more information about the international rafting base, in particular is there a climbing wall there? I read there was on the government site. Do you know if members of the public can use the facilities or do you have to join a club?. If so, how???? Also is there anywhere else to rock climb or somewhere nearby?

Hi, I am not clear about the specific community, but I know a resort named European Camp (Ou Fang Ying Di), where you may find many foreign people. Well, I know a Golden Beach Outdoor Rock Climbing site, which is at International Yantze River Drifting Base. It is about 25km from the city center. It is really the place you mentioned where you can enjoy yourself by rock climbing. It is a scenic spot, so you can go and climb as a tourist and you don't need to join a club. Don't worry!
