About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Can Singaporean reside in China or stay at least 1-2 years?

Hi, I'm a S'pore citizen and intend to reside in China, together with my wife & new born baby. FYI, my wife is a Chinese citizen & our daughter is holding S'pore passport. Kindly advice the procedure for us in types to apply & thank you very much.

You can apply for a family L at first. When you come to China, you may apply for the temporary resident permit from the main city Public Security Bureau for your greater area or your local PSB. Please visit this page for more details:
