About:Chinese Embassy in France

My colleagues from France (French Passport Holder) would like to apply for Business F

My French colleague told me that there's a new rule of document started from 1-March 2013. Last year, I just needed to ask an invitation letter from our Chinese supplier fully signed and stamped for application. According to my French colleague, now they need:

1. Name paper invitation
2. name of applicant
3. passport number of applicant
4. entry & departure dates
5. business F multi entry 6 months
6. goal of trip
7. stamp & signature +
8. official letter of notification given by Chinese authority after supplier request +
10. copy of pasport of supplier

Can you pls advice if new rule apply for additional document and what does rule No. 8 mean? How and where our Chinese supplier can get this letter? My supplier didn't know about this even they checked with the related office in their region. Is there any other solution?

Thank you for your quick response.

Hi, that is true there are some change for invitation letter used to visit for business. The invitation letter should include the following items:
(1) Personal information of the applicant, such as name, gender, and date of birth.
(2) Purpose of the visit, travel itinerary such as date of entry and exit, places of visit, relationship between the inviter and the applicant, and who will bear the expenses.
(3) If invited by a unit, please provide detailed information such as name of the unit, contact number, address, seal of the unit, and representative or the inviter's signature.
If he is invited by an individual, please provide copies of inviter's ID Card (if Chinese); passport information page, valid visa or residence permit(if foreigners).
For the No.8 requirements, it means the supplier needs to get the invitation letter stampted by local Foreign Affairs Office (单位所在省、自治区、直辖市人民政府外事办公室).

To be safe, it should be better with the stamp by local Foreign Affairs Office for application. But if you have already get the letter, you can have a try first.
