About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72h free transit visa also when booking flights with different airlines?

Can we get a 72h transit visa in this case:
- german passport holder
- flight from Japan to Beijing with airline A
- flight from Beijing to Germany with airline B (separate bookings)
- we have a working Z at the moment but it will not be valid at that time then.

Thanks for the good information on this website - hope you can also say something to our situation.

Hi, it is ok to travel wtih flights of different airlines. You need to report your demand of free transit to the airline A (to Beijing) prior to travel, so that the airline will report the request to the airport Frontier Inspection office.
