About:Beijing Capital International Airport

Baggage and terminal transfer

We are flying on Hainan airlines from Guangzhou to Beijing to Seattle to Dallas. Can we check bags all the way through or will we need to get our bags in Beijing and then recheck them. Also, I think that we come in to terminal 1 and depart from terminal 2. What is the best way to get from one terminal to another?

If you have the baggage check-through air ticket, you don't need to recheck it in BJ. If not, you have to recheck your luggage. Therefore, I suggest you ask your airline whether you have the baggage through-check service.

From T1 to T2, you can take the airport free terminal shuttle bus. It is very convenient.
