About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

If I'm transitting though Beijing(PEK) and the final destination is USA, do i need to secure a visa?

Layover time is 10 hours.
I have a Filipino passport and I am a USA resident with a green card.

You are not required for a visa. But you need to apply for a stay permit if you want to get out of the airport.
