About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Traveling from US to HK and last 3 days in Beijing

Does the visa-free work for me? Or I have to travel to BJ first then to Hong Kong in order to get the free visa???

Maybe not. If you travel from Hong Kong back to US via BJ, you are still qualified for the visa-free policy.
