Is there a train connection between nanning railway station and nanning airport??

You are right; there is no train connection.
We are not use to this, but seems in china it is often that there is no train connection to the airport. Means that foreigners are more comfortable in a taxi with low price.
I paid 130CNY from the wanxing hotel, minzhu lu (road), city center.
The meter was indicating 112CNY, but at the hotel I was agree with 130CNY, so I kept my word of honor to pay the amount. So the driver had some extra ;-)
Because of the trafic, we did almost an hour, just like you told me!
