Will I separare from family this year for work? When will I get a job?

I am a male. Lost my job in Sep'12 although was getting paid till Jan'12. Presently jobless. I am worried when I will get a job and if I need to relocate to another city, away from family for work. Will I get a job with pay as good as the last one?
