Tourist visa for Vietnamese citizen living in Australia

I'm a citizen of Vietnam but studying and living in Australia. I want to fly from Australia to Hongkong just for few days or a week and come back to Australia. Do I need a tourist visa? If yes, how long does it take to get approval for the visa and how much do I have to pay?
Thanks!

Yes, you have to get your L visa ready before entering HK. If you apply for it at the Chinese embassy in Australia, it takes four days for processing. However, it has to be approved by HK Immigration Department, which takes about four weeks. The fee is 50 Australian Dollars.
