on my way back from manila to paris with air china, i would like to visit beijing for 72

French Passport, I have my return plane ticket from Manila to Paris on May 12,2013. I would like to know how can I modify my plane ticket to have 72 hrs visit in Beijing. I have learn that I don't need a Visa for this stop over. Thank you in advance.

You can fly to a third country before flying back to Paris, for example, you can fly to Germany or Switzerland before getting back to Paris. So your air route is Manila-Beijing-Germany/Switzerland-Paris.
