About:China Visa

Beijing visa exemption

i have a flight from bangkok to beijing. And less than 72 hs later beijing tokyo, BUT the flight from bangkok stops for 2 hours in kunming before beijing. Can i still apply for the visa exemption? Where do the hours start counting?

I am afraid that you may not get the 72 hours visa free transit in Beijing since your last stop is in Kunming. I suggest you apply for a transit visa in advance.
