Do I need a transit visa to stay at the Pullman hotel for a couple of hours?

Hi,
The Guangzhou airport website says that the hotel is centred IN the airport complex, still I just heard that I will need transit visa to spend some hours at the hotel. Anyone that knows whether I still need a transit visa even though the hotel is within the airport?
