About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Travel document

I am a Canadian passport holder & Hong Kong citizen, can I use 回鄉卡 plus valid Hong Kong ID card fly direct from Vancouver to Sichuan with Sichuan Airline without pre-apply VISA. If you have any document which I can read to verify that.

No, as I know, you need to apply for a Chinese visa if you fly directly from Vancouver to Sichuan. You can confirm this with your airline company. The Home Return Permit can only be used to mainland from Hong Kong.
