Planning to go to Shanghai, Wuhan, Chongqing, Xian and Beijing. We like warm weather, what is the best time of year for this trip.

Considering the weather condition, May and October can be the best travel season. It is warm and sunny. However, both the months are during the Golden Travel Season of China, so it may be crowded, especially in the early days of the months.
