US citizens want a multi entry china visa on vacation in vietnam. Can we get china multiple entry?

we are US citizens, staying a month in Ho Chi Minh City. We want a multiple entry for China. We have one that expired in December 2012. Can we get a multiple for China by applying in Vietnam. If so, what do we need, what is the cost, and where do we go to get one? Thank you

You mean you have been issued a multiple visa before? if yes, you can try to apply from Chinese consulate in Hu Chi Minh City with your valid visa for Vietnam. Other documents needed are your passport, application forms, photos and invitation letter from China if travel with a travel agency. Fee is UD$ 140.
