Reqirements for working as a private contractor for a company?

My husband may do some private contract work for a printing company in china what do we have to do to do this? Also can we bring our dogs for short stay?

For private contract work, you can simply apply for a tourist visa L. This generally allows 30 days as duration, and you can apply extension twice before it expires. So, totally a period of 90 days. But if you plan to stay longer, you may need to apply for a business visa with invitation letter issued by relevant department.
