Apply Visa to go HK

I am a PhD student of Huazhong Agricultural University , Wuhan, China. I plan to take my family(my husband and two sons 8yrs and 4yrs old respectively) here in March just for 2 months period. We plan to Visit China and HK as well. Could you please tell me the procedure of applying Visa to HK. I have sent the invitation letter to my family to come here. Can they apply it after coming here ? How can I get mine? I mean can we all apply visa from Beijing, China. How much is it?

All of you can apply for the Hk visa from the Immigration Division of HK SAR in Beijing located at 71, Di'anmen Xidajie, Xicheng District, Beijing. The fee of a tourist visa is RMB 69.
