About:Chinese Consulate in New York

visa application/hiv status

HELLO, NOW THAT CHINA DOES NOT PREVENT TOURISTS WITH hiv FROM TRAVEL IN CHINA, WHEN i APPLY FOR A L VISA TO CHINA. AM i REQUIRED TO LIST MY hiv STATUS? i DO NOT WANT TO HAVE MY APPLICATION DENIED. ALSO, DO i HAVE TO HAVE MY DOCTORS LETTER LISTING MY MEDICATION PERSCRIPTION AND ITS USE, AUTHENTICATED BY MY STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT?

Hi, if you apply for Toutist visa to China, you can neglect the HIV status when fill the application form. Medical check is not required for short time visitor to China.
