Hi, you are not required visa to Hongkong. For Macao, you can get visa on arrival. However, you should be aware that leaving for HK or Macao counts an exit from mailand. I am not sure if you have residence permit that got after entry with your Z? or you just have a multiple Z valid for one year?

Hi Paolo, that is right you need to apply for a HK visa in advance. If you are in mianland China now, you can submit your application to HK immigration Beijing office, or to the HK directly. The latter takes long time due to delivery.
